I am sickened and enraged by the brazen and shameless racism in response to Israel killing WCK staff, i.e., Biden is outraged and says “Israel’s policy is a mistake;” Australian PM describes the killing of aid workers “as catastrophic, against international humanitarian law” and “beyond any reasonable circumstances;” Britain PM declares the killings as “appalling” and the “situation in Gaza increasing intolerable.” 

Since 7 October Israel kills at least 196 UNRWA staff and destroys 200 Red Crescent ambulances along with paramedics and wounded Palestinians; Israel regularly bombs and snipes Palestinians digging Palestinians calling for help out of rubble; Israeli snipers shoot doctors while they are operating and children walking in the street; IDF soldiers regularly kidnap and torture Palestinian doctors and nurses.  

During Israel’s recent destruction of Al Shifa Hospital, IDF soldiers indiscriminately shot everyone inside and outside the hospital --victims included several hundred Palestinian civil employees and police gathered inside the hospital. But, when Israel kills 6 white WCK staff/volunteers (the 7th WCK staff is Palestinian), OMG, we are shocked, horrified, and denouncing violation of international humanitarian law. Could the racism be any CLEARER?!  Palestinians are the other, less-than-human; 6 dead white people matter more than 45,000 dead Palestinians, 75% of whom are women and children.

What other conclusion can be drawn as the US continues weapons shipments to Israel with the knowledge that 700,000 Palestinian children under 10 years are sustaining fatal or permanent damage from malnutrition and starvation?

What other conclusion can be drawn as US continues to provide cover for Israel’s complete lawlessness with the knowledge that Israeli settlers rampage through the West Bank daily killing Palestinians, burning villages, expropriating land while Israel soldiers stand and watch or participate?
