October 7th marked one year – 365 days -- of Israel’s brutal scorched earth genocide campaign in Gaza. At least 50,000 killed with thousands missing/buried under rubble, more than 100,000 wounded/maimed, everything necessary to support life in Gaza destroyed. Along with death and destruction, Israel continues to impose conditions for slow inevitable death by starvation, disease, absence of healthcare.
Enabled by the US, Israel has normalized these war crimes, violations of international law, violations of humanitarian law: 1) destroying hospitals and killing medical/healthcare staff, 2) bombing ambulances and civil defense workers as they attend to wounded and rescue people from the rubble, 3) intentionally killing children, elderly, civilians indiscriminately, 4) bombing and shooting people at food and water distribution centers and in the streets following Israeli evacuation order, 5) repeatedly bombing schools, shelters, and tents in Israeli-designated “safe” zones, 6) ordering the extermination of all Palestinians remaining in norther Gaza.
Now Israel turns to inflict another unspeakably savage scorched-earth campaign of death and destruction on Lebanon. This terrorist rogue state invading to destroy a neighboring sovereign country while the Biden administration continues to send billions in war weapons to Israel.
