October 25th 2025 Day 277 White Supremacist Misogynist Christian Nationalist Regime; 1219 Days Since SCOTUS Ruled American Women Don’t Have Human Rights; 749 Days Since Israel Began Genocidal Campaign on Palestinians in Gaza

Since 7 October 2023, I posted 58 Dispatches on the US-Funded $40B Israeli Genocide Campaign in Gaza.  My dispatches bore witness to unspeakable and indescribable carnage wreaked by Israel on Gaza.  Israel relentlessly pursued their bloodthirsty revenge with brazen impunity provided by US. Indeed, US and European allies ruled that all persons criticizing the genocide and supporting Palestinians are terrorists and antisemites and would be treated as such.

Witness to the unbearable brutality suffered and seen by children and their families — children maimed, children orphaned, children burned to a crisp, children with arms, heads and legs torn off, children permanently disabled, children shot in the head and the groin, children starving and starved to death, children with grievous wounds with no pain medicine, children ripped to shreds and scattered across the rubble.

Witness with disgust and outrage to the mainstream media referring to the war in Gaza.  Never has been a war where 50% of dead and injured are women and children, and where 75% are undeniably civilians.

Witness to Israel’s strategic commitment to destroying all means required to maintain decent life.  Gaza is buried under 61 million tonnes of rubble that, based on conservative estimates, will take 5 years to clear.  Yes, Genocide in the 21st Century is normalized and publicized signaling the irrelevance of international law.

A Torturous Sanitation Disaster Is Unfolding in Gaza’s Displacement Camps | Truthout | Sara Awad | 25 October 2025.

In tent life, there is an unlivable war — a war that doesn’t begin with bombs, but with the absence of everything that makes life human. It is a war whose weapons are the denial of clean water, the lack of hygiene, the absence of toilets, dignity, and safety. I am not writing this as a distant witness. No — I am writing this from within it. From the ground. From inside the tent. These are not stories I’ve heard; these are the sensations I experience.

One month living in a tent was enough for me to understand the immense sanitation disaster and horrific conditions that make displaced people feel suffocated by everything around them. This kind of news doesn’t make headlines, and you might not have heard about it. But it is a silent kind of violence — one that kills us every day.

The war never truly ends for those of us living in tents. Every morning, we wake to the same suffocating atmosphere, surrounded by disease, dust, and the unbearable stench of open sewage. This is a silent kind of suffering. I am not just witnessing it — I am living it. And I am telling you: It is unbearable. We are dying in silence because of the smallest things — things so basic, so human — that no one has done anything to change.https://truthout.org/articles/a-torturous-sanitation-disaster-is-unfolding-in-gazas-displacement-camps/

We survived the war, we may not survive the ceasefire. There may be a ceasefire in place, but Israel still kills Palestinians in Gaza every day. | Al Jazeera | 25 October 2025

Yes, we are still forced to buy our food because Israel is not only violating the “ceasefire” by bombing us, but also withholding the aid it signed onto allowing. At least 600 trucks of aid were supposed to enter Gaza per day. According to the Gaza Media Office, just 986 aid trucks have entered Gaza since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11 – just 15 percent of what was promised. The World Food Programme (WFP) counted just 530 of its trucks being allowed in. UNRWA has 6,000 waiting to enter; none has been allowed.

Yesterday, the WFP spokesperson said no large aid convoys have entered Gaza City; Israel still does not give the agency the permission to use Salah al-Din Street. The Israeli policy of starving Gaza’s north is still in effect.

The Rafah border crossing with Egypt – our only outlet to the rest of the world – remains closed. We don’t know when it will open again; when the thousands of injured people will be allowed to cross for urgent medical treatment; when students will be able to leave to continue their education; when families, torn apart by the war, will be reunited; when those who love Gaza – those who have waited so long to come home – will finally be able to return.

It is by now clear that Israel is treating this “ceasefire” like a switch – turning it on and off as it pleases. On Sunday, we were back to massive bombardment, on Monday, it was “ceasefire” again. As if nothing had happened, as though 45 people hadn’t been massacred, as if no homes had been destroyed and no families shattered. It is devastating to see our lives treated as if they do not matter. It is soul-crushing to know that Israel can resume mass murder whenever it wants, without warning, without an excusewww.aljazeera.com/opinions/2025/10/25/we-survived-the-war-we-may-not-survive-the-ceasefire

The so-called ceasefire required Hamas to return the bodies of 20 Israeli hostages within 72 hours – plainly an impossible task with 80% of Gaza reduced to rubble with thousands buried under tons of debris.  From the moment the living hostages were returned, Israel began alleging, without evidence, Hamas violence and resumed killing Palestinians.  Israel is now restricting the amount of promised humanitarian aid with 1M Gazans in famine.

Israel Says It’s Halving Aid Into Gaza After Receiving Last 20 Living Captives. Israel says Hamas hasn’t returned captives’ bodies — while still blocking entry of machinery that can clear rubble. | Truthout | Sharon Zhang | 14 October 2025.

The Associated Press noted that Israeli officials knew there would likely be a delay in receiving the captives’ remains. The International Committee of the Red Cross, which has aided in the exchange of remains between Israel and Palestinian forces, said that it may take days or weeks to fully recover the remains, and that the process is “a massive challenge.”

Amid the genocide, Israel destroyed at least 70 percent of structures in Gaza, and left behind massive piles of debris. It also barred all heavy machinery that could help clear rubble; officials say there are at least 6,000 Palestinians, if not far more, who are believed to be buried under the rubble after Israeli strikes.

The ban on heavy equipment may also explain why Hamas may have trouble locating Israeli captives’ remains. “Israeli occupation officials threaten to resume the genocide in Gaza as the Palestinian resistance failed to find bodies of deceased Israeli prisoners,” wrote Gaza journalist Motasem A Dalloul. “The reason that they have not been found is Israel which insists on not allowing the entry of heavy equipment in order to remove the rubble, open streets and look for the bodies.” https://truthout.org/articles/israel-says-its-halving-aid-into-gaza-after-receiving-last-20-living-captives/

‘Nothing has changed’: Gaza health workers report almost no medical aid entering the strip. Israel continues to block medical supplies, equipment and assistive devices classified as 'dual-use' items | Middle East Eye | 25 October 2025. Israel has classified almost all medical supplies, equipment and materials as dual-use, that is, could be used by Hamas. https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/nothing-has-changed-gaza-health-workers-report-almost-no-medical-aid-entering-strip

Almost 55,000 preschool children in Gaza acutely malnourished, Lancet study estimates. Study shows clear link between Israeli aid restrictions and malnutrition among children aged between six months and five years. | The Guardian | 8 October 2025.

Almost 55,000 children under the age of six in Gaza are estimated to be acutely malnourished, far more than have so far been identified as victims of the potentially lethal condition, a study published in the Lancet, the respected international medical periodical, has revealed.   www.theguardian.com/world/2025/oct/08/almost-55000-children-in-gaza-acutely-malnourished-lancet-study-estimates

740 Palestinians in Gaza Died Waiting for Medical Evacuation, WHO Says. |Truthout | 24 October 2025.

At least 740 Palestinians in Gaza died over a period of 13 months while awaiting medical evacuation that never came, the UN has reported, as Israel denied tens of thousands of Palestinians of this crucial lifeline.

This death toll includes at least 137 children who were on the evacuation list and died between July 2024 and August 2025, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported this week. There are still 15,600 Palestinians who are awaiting medical transport, officials reported. One in four of them are childrenhttps://truthout.org/articles/740-palestinians-in-gaza-have-died-waiting-for-medical-evacuation-who-says/

Israeli Military Is Still Holding 9,000 Palestinians in Prison | Democracy Now | 20 October 2025. Sari Bashi, an Israeli American human rights lawyer and former program director at Human Rights Watch reports:

“Even after having released almost 2,000 people last week, the Israeli military is still holding about 9,000 Palestinians, in what it calls security prisoners or detainees,” says Sari Bashi, an Israeli American human rights lawyer and former program director at Human Rights Watch. “Only about a thousand of them have actually been convicted of any crime. The vast majority of people being held are being held without trial.” either in what’s called administrative detention, for the West Bank, or the Unlawful Combatants Law, for folks from Gaza. That means that there’s no allegation that they’ve committed a crime. They’re being held on a charge of dangerousness, that is backed by secret evidence that neither they nor their lawyers can either see or challenge. It is an arbitrary system in which every day, including yesterday, the Israeli military is rounding up more and more Palestinians in the West — from the West Bank now and just refilling those detention and prison cells, where people are subject to serious abuse  https://www.democracynow.org/2025/10/20/sari_bashi

The 9,100 Palestinians left behind in Israeli prisons after the ‘peace’ deal –As world leaders celebrate the release of Israeli captives, over 9,000 Palestinian prisoners still face torture, hunger, and isolation behind bars. Half of them are held by Israel without charge or trial.  |   | Mondoweiss | Qassam Muaddi | 15 October 2025.  https://mondoweiss.net/2025/10/the-9100-palestinians-left-behind-in-israeli-prisons-after-the-peace-deal/

Palestinian Healthcare Workers Among Hostages Released from Israeli Torture Camps.

Israel Is Still Holding at Least 115 Health Care Workers Hostage, Org Says | Truthout | The Carceral Report | Elizabeth Weill-Greenberg | 15 October 2025.

Since the genocide began over two years ago, Israeli forces have targeted Gaza’s hospitals, ambulances, patients, and healthcare workers. Israel attacked close to 40 hospitals and slaughtered more than 1,700 healthcare workers.Over the last two years, Israel has disappeared more than 400 healthcare workers from Gaza and the West Bank, according to Healthcare Workers Watch-Palestine (HWW), an organization that tracks Israel’s attacks on Palestine’s healthcare system.

Israel’s systematic abduction of healthcare workers is a war crime which has decimated the hospital workforce in Gaza,” Dr. Muath Alser, the co-founder and director of HWW, said in a statement. “Israel must immediately and unconditionally release all the detained healthcare workers including the bodies of those tortured to death in detention.”

According to HWW, five healthcare workers were killed while held captive. Healthcare workers detained in Israel’s torture camps have reported to HWW that they were beaten, sexually assaulted with foreign objects, sexually humiliated, and hung from ceilings. A paramedic told the group he was hung from a ceiling and electrocuted.  https://www.thecarceralreport.com/p/palestinian-healthcare-workers-among
